GeniePoint nationwide rapid charger network expanding

ChargePoint Services and Motor Fuel Group (MFG) has been gaining momentum with their roll-out of Rapid Chargers across the GeniePoint Network.

With over 14 new state-of-the-art tri-connector rapid chargers already installed providing easy to use, reliable charging at MFG forecourts, driver usage is rising.

With a further 20 being built in January, 25 programmed to follow in February and a total of 60 expected by the end of the first quarter 2018, the partnership will provide the biggest non-motorway rapid charger facility in the country.

Situated on MFG’s 439 forecourts across the UK, the chargers provide very fast(50kW), easy to use electric vehicle charging at a convenient location where drivers can take a break, purchase refreshments and resume their journey without lengthy delays or detours.

Connected to ChargePoint Services’ GeniePoint Network, the chargers are constantly monitored for maximum uptime ensuring they are always available and ready to charge.
