Dundee taxi firm puts electric fleet of New York-inspired cabs on the streets

Dundee taxi company 505050 has painted its new Nissan Leaf fleet in the style of New York cabs, which are catching the eye of tourists in the city.

Lee Jack, firm owner, told the Dundee Evening Telegraph: “We’ve had people stand in front of the cars for photos and all sorts. We’ve got three in and have another two on order at the moment.

“Our long-term plan for our 160-car fleet is that every time we take a car off we replace it with an electric one.”
