Porsche has unveiled its first all-electric powered vehicle for more than 100 years at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the form of its Mission E concept.

The four door, four seat model takes styling cues from the 911, 918 Spyder hybrid and the 919 hybrid, also utilising two permanent magnet synchronous motors similar to the Le Mans winning 919.

It is reportedly capable of producing 440kW of power with over 500km driving range. Porsche are also working on ’Turbo Charging’ battery technology, which aims to charge the car to 80 per cent in just 15 minutes.

Additionally, The Mission E concept features all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering, with acceleration of 0-100km/h in under 3.5 seconds and 0-200km/h in under 12 seconds.
