Audi unveils new e-tron quattro concept

Audi debuted its e-tron quattro concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show, an all-electric SUV designed to be sporty, efficient and suitable for everyday use.

The e-tron features three electric motors, one on the front axle and two on the rear axle, with a total output of 320kW, achieving 0-63 mph in 406 seconds with a with a top speed of 130 mph.

The large 95 kWh lithium-ion battery is integrated into the floor of the passenger compartment, and reportedly enables a range of 310 miles.

Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, Member of the Audi Board of Management for Technical Development, said: “Audi will present an all-electric, luxury-class sport SUV in early 2018. The Audi e‑tron quattro concept provides a concrete foretaste of this. It combines driving pleasure with great range, an expressive design and excellent comfort.”
