Dubai police add electric vehicle to its fleet

According to Business Insider, The Dubai Police Force has added a BMW i3 to its fleet to help lower CO2 emissions.
In 2015, the force welcomed the BMW i8 hybrid sports car to its fleet and now the BMW i3 has been added.
The i3 was shown at an event in the financial district of Dubai, where United Arab Emirates (UAE) energy minister, Suhail Al-Lazrouei, said that the UAE is planning to grow its electric car fleet in order to cut CO2 emissions by 15 per cent in the next four years.
At the moment, it is unclear how the BMW i3 will be used within the fleet and what its specific policing duties will be.
