Public charging network, InstaVolt, has partnered with Select Car Leasing, as their recommended rapid charging provider.

The partnership aims to encourage Select customers to make the switch to EV by assuring they have access to reliable, rapid public charging wherever they need it. The collaboration will also give drivers access to ongoing offers and promotions from the charging network, providing drivers with insight and tips to make them feel confident in transitioning to electric.

InstaVolt is also working to expand its network to ensure driver confidence in the UK’s charging network increases and range anxiety is reduced. The charging network currently has more than 900 rapid chargers energised or in construction and has pledged to install 10,000 new rapid chargers over the next 10 years.

InstaVolt Chief Executive Officer, Adrian Keen, said: “InstaVolt is excited to partner with Select Car Leasing, as it will demonstrate to drivers the vast charging infrastructure the UK currently has and will help reduce concerns drivers may have around making the switch.

“The collaboration will help to instill confidence in drivers by providing them with the information they need to seek out rapid, reliable and easy to use charge points on the InstaVolt network. With chargers at locations including Costa Coffee, Bannatyne Health Clubs, EH Booths and McDonald’s restaurants, our network is ideally located for drivers to enjoy a quick stop on longer journeys.

“InstaVolt will continue to work with best-in-class partners to make EV public charging a seamless experience for the UK’s drivers. We plan to work closely with all sectors to encourage more people to switch to EVs thus helping the government meet its zero-carbon emissions target by 2050.”

Graham Conway, Managing Director of Select Car Leasing said: “We are delighted to formalise this partnership with InstaVolt, enabling thousands of our customers to get access to some of the fastest electric vehicle charging available in the UK today. As an industry we need crucial partnerships like these to blossom to ensure that all the UK motorists get the best possible experience when driving an electric vehicle, so we’re very excited to be working together with them in 2022 and beyond.”
