Bristol Hyundai showroom undergoes ‘green’ refurb

Bristol Hyundai’s showroom has had a £330,000 refurbishment which includes the installation of charge points for electric and hybrid vehicles.

Renovation works at the Bristol Street Motors facility has included the installation of efficient lighting and air conditioning, as well as vehicle chargers, in a bid to go green.

The dealership would like to welcome members of the public to visit the dealership and see all it has to offer at a special two-day-long opening event from September 15.

The dealership is extending its opening hours until 10pm over the event so that customers can visit to see the dealership and enjoy casino-style games alongside refreshments.

The sites general manager, Terry Thurgood, said: “The installation of electric vehicle charging points and the green credentials of the refurbishment will allow us to support the city’s ethos.

“The business has put a lot of resources into enhancing the site for both colleagues and customers.

“It’s definitely money well spent because it looks fantastic and the improvements really allow us to demonstrate the full range and capability that Hyundai has to offer."
