News

Tesla has introduced a new entry level option for the Model X, which comes equipped with a 60kWh battery.

Like the newly re-introduced Model S 60D, the Model X 60D is equipped with a 75Kwh lithium-ion battery which is software limited to 60kWh.

The new Model X 60D is now available to configure, with deliveries expected in early 2017. The base Model X boasts a NEDC range of 220 miles, with a top speed of 130mpg and acceleration from 0-60mph in six seconds.

It starts at £64,100 without incentives and comes with free charging across Tesla’s Supercharger network. As with the Model S 60D, customers can choose to upgrade the car to the full 75kWh capacity after purchase through a software update.
