Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is planning to electrify its model line-up by 2025, with half of its portfolio available as pure-EV or PHEV within three years, Next Green Car has reported.

Speaking at the Formula E Berlin e-Prix, JLR executive director, corporate and strategy, Hanno Kirner, said: "In three years, we will electrify half of our product range - and we will continue to do so. We will offer all three options (internal combustion engine, hybrid, and electric) for our main models by 2025."

At the moment, Jaguar does not have any electric models in the JLR range, but Jaguar will launch its I-Pace pure-EV by the middle of 2018.
