Nissan launches seven-seat e-NV200

Nissan have announced the release of a seven seat version of the e-NV200, which is billed as the world’s first seven seat all-electric vehicle.

They claim it will cost just two pence per mile to run, with the total cost of ownership estimated to be £2,500 cheaper than a conventional diesel over a three year period.

It has a range of 106 miles on a single charge and can charge from zero to 80 per cent in half an hour. Prices will start at £23,400 for people buying the car outright, which is inclusive of the government plug-in car grant, or £19,895 with the Nissan Flex battery leasing option.

Additional features include the ability to fold the the sixth and seventh seats to the side to create a load space of 2.94 cubic metres.
