Tesla teases images of Model Y and Tesla Semi truck

Tesla has revealed an image of its new Model Y electric vehicle and Tesla Semi heavy-duty electric truck at a shareholder meeting held in California.

The Model Y is a small SUV to be released in 2019-2020 and will use a new platform building on the improvements made to existing models.

The Tesla Semi meanwhile is an electric truck which will have the highest weight capability with long-range, and will out-torque any diesel truck, according to Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk.

The truck will be shown off in September as a working prototype.
