The world’s largest and most comprehensive DC fast charging station has opened in Nebbenes, Norway.
Norway is currently the largest global market for electric vehicles (EVs) as a share of new vehicle sales, with 28.4 per cent of new vehicle sales being made up of plug-ins, and the new station, located around 40 miles from Oslo, is capable of charging 28 electric cars at once.
The station supports all three DC fast charging systems available on the global market - CHAdeMO, Combined Charging Standard (CCS), and Supercharger - which means it is equipped to recharge the large variety of EVs on Norway’s roads.
