Further UK battery investment for Nissan

Nissan has declared it will produce a future generation of electric vehicle batteries at its Sunderland manufacturing base, in a £26.5 million investment.

This will safeguard 300 highly skilled jobs in manufacturing, maintenance and engineering at the advanced lithium-ion battery plant, the largest of its type in Europe.
