According to a poll on day two of GREENFLEET365's AMP ULEV eROADSHOW, the majority of fleets have either started to implement measures for their fleet to become net zero or had plans in development.

With the government aiming to bring all greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050, delegates were asked what their net zero progress was.

The majority (32 per cent) said that they had plans in development, and 27 per cent had already started to implement measures from their plans.

Eighteen per cent said that they had not started to make plans yet, but were scheduled to do so in 2020/21, and 23 per cent said that they had not yet started to devise any strategies.

Encouragingly, most delegates had some zero or ultra low emission vehicles on their fleet. When asked what percentage of their fleet was made up with either electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles, forty-seven per cent had up to five per cent, and 29 per cent had between 10-20 per cent. Twelve per cent had between five and ten per cent, while six per cent had between 20-50 per cent. Six per cent of delegates had over fifty per cent of their fleet made up of electric or PHEVs.
