Pod Point has entered into a Preferred Supplier Agreement with Jaguar Land Rover, offering its home and workplace charging for the car-maker’s range of plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles.

Jaguar Land Rover’s plug-in vehicles include the new fully electric Jaguar I-PACE and the Range Rover PHEV and Range Rover Sport PHEV plug-in hybrids.

The I-PACE, which launched in March has a 90kWh battery and 298-mile range on the WLTP cycle. It also features faster charging capabilities and the ability to go from 0 to 60mph in just 4.5 seconds. The Range Rover PHEV and Range Rover Sport PHEV have an EV range of 31 miles and a fuel tank for long journeys. Drivers of both vehicles can charge overnight with the use of a Pod Point homecharger.

Erik Fairbairn, CEO of Pod Point, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Jaguar Land Rover, particularly following the launch of the I-PACE, which was a very exciting moment for our industry. Likewise, working with high profile brands like Land Rover as they launch their first plug-in models is another landmark achievement for Pod Point.”
