Clean bus fund applications due to close

Local authorities have been urged to make sure that they meet the deadline for funding from the government’s £30 million Clean Bus Technology Fund.

The applications are due to close 17 November, with an initial funding start date of 5 January, 2018.

It will be used to retrofit buses with technology to bring them in line with strict emissions standards.

This is part of plans to improve air quality in towns and cities.
