Bott purchases electric Kia e-Niro for client visits

Vehicle conversions and workplace outfitting firm bott has ordered a new Kia e-Niro electric car to visit clients.

The Kia e-Niro offers a 282-mile electric range from a single charge of its 64kWh battery. Backed by an ever-growing number of public charge points, bott has had the car fully sign-written to enhance its visible presence.

Following the successful integration of the electric car into its day-to-day workings and acceptance by staff, bott has placed a second order for another Kia e-Niro with Marsh Kia Exeter.

Graham Wright, Purchasing Manager at bott, commented: “We’ve run a fleet of plug-in hybrid cars for a while, and although they’ve proven great for fuel savings and served as an introduction to electric cars, the Kia e-Niro has far exceeded our expectations.

“Going electric as a company has benefited not only our staff who love the pure experience of driving electric, but also our customers who comment on the car and recognise it as a sign that bott takes its carbon footprint seriously.
“The car is in constant use and staff practically fight over the keys to get to use it, so we had to order another one.

“We looked at most other electric cars on the market, including some newer ones, but the Kia offers all that we require and more, plus is backed by its industry-leading and reassuring seven-year warranty.”

Pete Underhill, Business Sales Manager at Marsh Kia Exeter added: “It’s been my pleasure dealing with Graham over the past couple of years and being able to assist with Bott Ltd. going electric with the e-Niro. This is additionally a great example of how Marsh Kia Exeter is able to help a business investigate all the options available, with Kia’s range of vehicles that range from mild hybrid, to hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery electric.”
