What do we do?

Our mission at Michelin Connected Fleet is to provide the services and solutions that fleet operators and managers need to easily manage their fleet and day-to-day operations. The key is to turn their mobility data into competitive advantage and operational efficiency for their business.

In concrete terms, it's a combination of 3 things:

Technology: all the sensors used to collect data on vehicles (e.g. journeys, fuel consumption, tyre pressure and temperature, driving behaviour).
The solution: the fleet management platform, which provides real-time and retrospective information to manage and optimise operations by job (vehicle tracking, indicators now, driving behaviour, job tracking, tyre health).
Support managed entirely by a team of dedicated experts, who ensure that customers are supported at every stage of their journey. But above all, they ensure more in-depth analysis and improved performance where it matters most (e.g. on issues of cost control, productivity, safety of people and goods & the environment).

Real expertise in connected fleet management, thanks to Michelin's business experience in this area, and the advanced technologies, tools and services combined to meet all customer needs.... We have the experience of serving over 70,000 customers worldwide, and 10,000 in Europe, with local and dedicated teams to help support customers at every stage of their journey with us.

But it's also, and above all, a true partner relationship
- we establish a very close relationship with our customers right from the start. We understand their business and their challenges, and work with them in monthly meetings to help them turn data into action plans.

Our market research has shown that 90% of respondents say they are not satisfied with the customer service and support they receive today. Michelin Connected Fleet has made this its differentiating asset.

How do MICHELIN Connected Fleet support the transition to Carbon Neutrality?

As part of MICHELIN Connected Fleet’s portfolio of solutions, MoveElectric and the EV transition tool helps fleet’s start then accelerate their transition to electric vehicles. It helps fleet managers to rapidly progress their electric vehicle (EV) fleet strategies and optimise operations. With bespoke EV transition analysis, they can measure the impact of electrification on fuel costs and tailpipe emissions for both individual vehicles and across whole fleets.

Using existing journey data, MoveElectric recommends the best way to transition, whilst the EV mobile app gives drivers full confidence in running their EVs. This function also helps fleets to see charging behaviours and charging activity per vehicle, helping to reduce downtime and facilitate driver reimbursement.

This advanced set of EV management tools is included in the LCV Connected Fleet Premium package, which offers a range of options – covering both EVs and hybrids – and supports in deciding which is best for their specific needs.

For fleets wanting to understand the potential benefits of using our solutions and unlocking the potential benefits of partnering with MICHELIN Connected Fleet,  we have a unique pilot process accompanied by a Customer Experience Specialist who can work with fleets to help them start their transition or realise the savings by deploying a managed approach to decarbonisation.

Ongoing support for the customer is a vital part of MICHELIN Connected Fleet’s offer.  Dedicated support comes in the form of Customer Experience Managers to help review the data with the customer, identifying trends and patterns and working with the fleet to build action plans targeting specific improvements in the fleet and then tracking the performance to ensure the customer meets their targets.
